COMPANY: Leading Edge Machine & Design
ROLE: Industrial Designer
SCOPE: Model complex parts to be machined for hot rods, design a line of wheels, redesign website

At LEMD, I worked with clients, concept artists, and our in-house machinist to design both functional and decorative parts for high-profile hot rod builds. Collaborating closely with the machinist gave me a deeper understanding of CNC-friendly design—optimizing surfaces, tolerances, threads, and part interactions for faster, cleaner manufacturing.

I also integrated 3D scans into my workflow to create parts that fit seamlessly with existing components.

A standout project was a custom bottle opener for a motorcycle builder turned whiskey distiller. It had to meet brand standards, use multiple materials, and be fast to produce at scale.

While at LEMD, I also redesigned the company’s website—revamping the visual identity, layout, and copy to better reflect the brand and boost its online presence.
